SHOW DATES FOR 2026
 Our show season runs generally runs from April through September/October -  We will be offering 8 shows this year with no rain dates.  In the event of a cancellation, it will not be made up later on.

NACHA YEAR END AWARDS PROGRAM
  • To qualify for NACHA Year End Awards, you must show in 50% plus one shows.  
  • ​If there are 5 shows, you must show in 4 shows to qualify for year-end awards
  • If there are 6 shows, you must show in 4 shows to qualify for year-end awards
  • If there are 7 shows, you must show in 5 shows to qualify for year-end awards
  • If there are 8 shows, you must show in 5 shows to qualify for year-end awards

GENERAL SHOW INFORMATION:
  • Books open at 7:30am -  -(Class draws begin at 8:30) - and shows start at 9:00 am - 
  • Payment is expected when you sign up - cash or checks only!
  • Don't forget horse ownership papers!!!  We need to make sure that horses and owner's names are correctly entered in the show program, so the results come out correctly.
  • NO cattle reservations are required.
  • All riders and owners must be members of Northern Arizona Cutting Horse Association
  • You are responsible for making sure your membership is active and in good order.  New membership forms are required each year.
  • Show points will not be awarded if rider and/or owner are not a NACHA member as of the date showing.  Show points will be taken away if check in returned by your bank or if payment is not paid in full at the show.
  • You are responsible for knowing your eligibility and rules for each class you enter.

RESULTS AND STANDINGS:
Results and standings are updated after each show but are considered unofficial until classes are audited for membership, eligiblility and proper application of points.

OTHER INFO:
Practice Flag available after 8:00am for $15 per work. 

Jackpot payouts per NCHA rules, except for some specialty classes - see class rules
$15 per horse goes to Jackpot.
Membership dues must be paid before year-end points can be earned
One or more entries are needed to make a "class".
Classes may be combined on a single set of cattle at management's discretion

Things to Remember

  • Familiarize yourself with the show dates, class rules, new fees and upcoming special classes.
  • All classes will be held, even with 1 entry!
  • All Jackpot payouts done in accordance with NCHA Rules, except certain specialty classes - Beginner, Youth, Ranch & Bridleless.
  • Bring a copy of your horse's Registration Papers with you when you enter!
  • Practice Flag and Practice Works are available.  Practice is held by request at the end of the show and is $25 for 4 minutes.
  • Year-End Awards Program is the top 5 finishers in each class, provided the minimum number of shows has been entered and completed.  If a horse or rider receives a "0", that attempt at showing will not count in the minimum number of shows needed for year-end awards and will also not be awarded any points for that show.​
  • New Cutters, Cow Horse Riders, Boxers, Ranch Horse Versatility and Team Sorters are welcome to come and learn more about cutting and working cattle.

$25,000 Novice Horse - $160 (Fresh Cattle)
$25,000 Amateur Rider - $160 (Fresh Cattle)
$1,000 Amateur Rider - $160 (Fresh Cattle) 
$5,000 Novice Horse - $160 (Usually Fresh Cattle)
$5,000 Nov/NP - $115 (Rerun Cattle)
$4,000 Limited Rider - $115 (Rerun Cattle)
$2,500 Novice Horse - $115 (Rerun Cattle)

Beginner Class - $80 (40% Payback Jackpot) - (Rerun Cattle)
Youth - $60 (Rerun Cattle)
​Ranch - Snaffle Bit/Hack Horses 5 and younger) - $ 115 (Rerun Cattle)
​Ranch - Bridle (Horses 6 and older) - $115 (Rerun Cattle)
Ranch - Youth - $60 (Rerun Cattle)
Boxing - $60

  • Overnight Corrals - $20 per night - reserve in advance with Susan Baxter - Treasurer 928-379-2339
  • Overnight Dry Camping is allowed if you have horses in the NACHA corrals - No hookups
  • Practice Flag - $15 per horse/rider session.
  • ​Memberships - $40 for Individual and $50 for a Family or Ranch
